Who’s your latest business ‘crush’ on?

You know that person or business who seem to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G & doing all the right things.

You see & hear about them everywhere (or at least it seems like that).

The one you may be comparing yourself with & thinking ‘well what’s the even point of me even attempting to start or grow my business?’

Then when you hear they haven’t been in business for years & year & years, you think ‘well they’re just lucky’ to have achieved that ‘overnight success’.

But have you ever stopped to think about the story behind their story?

It’s very rarely an overnight success story.

They started somewhere.

They’ll have had sleepiness nights & probably thought about throwing in the towel countless times.

But they didn’t!  They kept going!  They took consistent action!

They learnt from their mistakes (& I’m sure they made many).

It may not even have been their first attempt .. or second … or even twelfth!

I know that it can be be both exciting & frightening going out there to do what you want & grow a business around it!  (I see it everyday with my clients & also myself!)

When you realise that they aren’t anymore extra special than you … it can really help you stop a lot of the rubbish that goes around in your mind & instead focus on YOU!

Seriously now … it’s down to YOU!  You need to mind your own business & compare your progress only against your own goals & journey!

Also, would you really be able to handle an ‘overnight success’?  Wouldn’t it be so much better to grow a business that has solid foundations & absolutely knocking the socks of your customer or clients with phenomenal results & experiences?

Right .. get to it now & focus on taking action that will help YOU, YOUR business & YOUR customers or clients!

Until next time ….
